Job Overview

This is a fly-in-fly-out (FIFO) role based in the Tiwi Islands, offering a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our clients while experiencing the beauty of the Australian outback.

The successful candidate will be required to work 10 days on, 4 days off with rotating roster morning, afternoon and night shifts. Accommodation, meals, and flights are all included.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing quality, responsive, and compassionate care to our diverse range of clients, including aged and high-need individuals.

You will assist with everyday activities, provide support services such as Domestic Assistance, Social Support, Respite, and Personal Care in the facility.

Please note that this role requires full-time hours and a valid right to work in Australia. As part of the application process, you may be required to participate in a health evaluation.

Key Responsibilities

Support Workers will meet the changing needs of customers by providing flexible services, including personal and respite care, social support, domestic assistance, overnight care, and 24-hour support.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and contributing to a supportive team environment.

Requirements
  • A completed Certificate III in Aged Care, Home and Community Care, or Individual Support.
  • Current and valid Full Driver's Licence.
  • Smart mobile phone.
  • Capacity to embrace a role that is meaningful for the community and yourself.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with a customer service orientation.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
  • Access to the internet and experience using a computer, systems, and applications.
  • Proficiency in the use of technology such as smartphones, email, and the internet.
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around $65,000-$75,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
