Mental Health Support Professional

We provide vital support to individuals in their own homes and community settings, helping them develop skills and abilities to gain independence and complete day-to-day tasks. Our goal is to empower rather than do, promoting independence, development, and confidence in our consumers.
This role requires individuals who act with integrity and are driven to make a positive impact. You will need to be assertive and possess a genuine empathetic approach.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 and 2:1 support to consumers in their own home and community setting
- Meet individual needs according to an established behavioural support plan
- Develop professional relationships with consumers, their families, and other stakeholders in the community
- Provide accurate and timely case notes for a consistent experience
- Support consumers to work towards their individual goals
- Prior experience supporting people with mental disorders where challenging behaviours are common, either through work or lived experience
- Theoretical knowledge beneficial
- Able to work autonomously and within a team, making a positive and effective contribution through various means of communication platforms
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and meet all compliance requirements in relation to NDIS Work Screening, Working With Children's Check, work rights, and possess a current and valid driver's licence
