Job Title

We are seeking a skilled Duty Supervisor to join our team at the Regional Aquatic Centre in Grafton. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a new and modern facility, providing frontline supervision and ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for customers.

The successful applicant will have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the Guidelines for Safe Pool Operation, as well as experience on the pool deck with the ability to identify and respond to emergency situations. They will also possess well-developed leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work a rotating roster that spans over seven days, including some early mornings and late evenings.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide frontline supervision and ensure the smooth operation of the aquatic centre
  • To maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for customers
  • To lead by example and demonstrate excellent customer service skills

Requirements:

  • Duty Supervision Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in duty supervising an aquatic centre or similar environment
  • Lifeguard Experience:
  • A current Certificate III in Lifesaving and a proven track record of lifeguarding experience
  • Leadership and Communication Skills:
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team
