Job Title: Range Services Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to work on our Defence Base Services contract as a Range Services Coordinator. As a key team member, you will provide range services in exclusion zones during live activities and be responsible for land management duties.

The role involves working outdoors in the fresh air and being exposed to the workings of a Defence Training Facility. You will have the opportunity to work on a full-time permanent basis, with 38 hours of work per week and overtime opportunities available.

Your duties will include ensuring Red Flags / Red Lights are positioned correctly, preparing ranges, undertaking groundskeeping and facilities maintenance activities, manufacturing and repairing range targets, and responding to minor bush firefighting activities when required.

To be considered for this position, you must be an Australian Citizen and willing to undergo a police check.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide range services in exclusion zones during live activities
  • Perform land management duties including mowing, tree removal, and reactive firefighting
  • Maintain grass cutting, fence/gate repairs, and other tasks
  • Manufacture and repair range targets
  • Initial response to minor bush firefighting activities when required

Requirements:

  • Current Driver's Licence - HR License highly regarded
  • Experience in Range Training Areas or Land Management environments highly regarded
