We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Risk Manager to join our Amazon Flex team. As a key member of our labour and conciliation team, you will play a pivotal role in representing Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with the Australian Fair Work Commission (FWC) and other labour arbitration bodies.
Key responsibilities include:
- Representing Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings and negotiations with the FWC and other labour arbitration bodies.
- Providing legal support and risk mitigation strategies to ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
- Preparing and managing case files, including gathering evidence and conducting deep dives to support case preparation and defence.
- Developing and implementing proactive risk mitigation strategies and policy recommendations to minimize legal exposure and enhance compliance.
- Monitoring compliance of internal policies relating directly to the Digital Labour Platform Deactivation Code (DLDP) and preparing regular reports and presentations for senior management and legal on enforcement-related risks, trends, conciliation and arbitration outcomes.
Requirements
- 6+ years of compliance, audit or risk management experience.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience engaging with regulatory agencies in permit applications or equivalent.
- Experience developing and implementing standards, policies and programs or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent.
- Experience building cross-functional partnerships and influencing stakeholders across the organization to act without having a direct reporting relationship.
