Job Description

About the Role

As a Senior Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in representing Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with the Australian Fair Work Commission (FWC) and/or other labour arbitration bodies/regulators.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Represent Amazon Flex in conciliation meetings with the FWC and other labour arbitration bodies/regulators.
  2. Provide legal support and risk mitigation through collaboration with the legal, enforcement, and policy teams.
  3. Prepare and manage comprehensive case files, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and confidentiality.
  4. Assess and mitigate risks associated with labour disputes, compliance issues, and regulatory changes.
  5. Monitor compliance of internal policies relating directly to the Digital Labour Platform Deactivation Code (DLDP).

Requirements

  • 6+ years of compliance, audit, or risk management experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • Experience engaging with regulatory agencies in permit applications or equivalent.
  • Experience developing and implementing standards, policies, and programs or equivalent.
