Vocational Coach

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vocational Coach to support young people in achieving their vocational goals.

This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that will allow you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.

The Day-to-Day:

  1. Work closely with young people to understand their vocational aspirations and develop personalized support plans.
  2. SUPPORT THE DEVELOPMENT AND IMPLEMENTATION OF VOCATIONAL SERVICES.
  3. Establish strong relationships with local services, including mental health providers, employers, and education institutes.
  4. Promote vocational services to internal and external stakeholders and develop referral pathways across the local area.
  5. Deliver vocational assistance to young people who experience barriers to employment and/or education.
  6. Manage a caseload of young people and liaise with clinical teams, families, and employers to achieve positive outcomes.
  7. Develop meaningful relationships with potential employers and education institutes.
  8. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

What We Need:

  • Experience working with young people or vulnerable groups.
  • Previous experience in roles requiring attention to detail in documentation.
  • Experience in stakeholder engagement and demonstrated partnership building and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for ethical work and helping others.
  • Able to cold call or approach potential employers for job opportunities.
