About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Linfox Pty Ltd.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, developing and executing the Safety, Health and Wellbeing (SH&W) strategic plan in partnership with our senior leadership team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Partner with the leadership team to develop and implement risk management strategies to ensure a safe working environment
  • Drive the Linfox safety evolution by coaching and mentoring others to increase knowledge, ownership and engagement in SH&W
  • Ensure that the business takes a proactive approach to identifying and controlling risks through regular audits and reviews
  • Facilitate 4Ds and STKY sessions to identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
  • Provide guidance and support for serious incident investigations to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
  • Embed health and wellbeing initiatives to promote general health, nutrition, fitness and fatigue management
  • Create a mentally healthy workplace by addressing psychosocial risks and promoting employee well-being
  • Manage the safety system and auditing to ensure compliance with legislative and self-insurance requirements
  • Report on performance trends and outcomes to inform business decisions
  • Coach and develop the capability of the Safety, Health and Wellbeing team

Requirements

  • Risk Management: Proven experience in risk identification, assessment and mitigation
  • Coaching: Strong coaching or training skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
  • Culture: Experience in building a positive team culture
  • Safety: Proven track record in safety roles within dynamic, high-risk environments
  • Health & Wellbeing: Genuine interest and experience in health and wellness initiatives
  • Compliance: Understanding of WHS legislative responsibilities and regulatory environment
  • Learning: Keen interest in continuous learning and sharing knowledge with others
  • Enthusiasm & Passion: Energy and passion for safety, health and wellbeing with a willingness to get involved and make a difference
