Overview


Linfox Pty Ltd is a leading logistics company seeking an experienced Risk Management and Compliance Specialist to join our team. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to drive the Linfox safety evolution by partnering with our senior leadership team to plan, develop, and execute the SH&W strategic plan.



Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

About the Role

The Risk Management and Compliance Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that the business takes a risk-based approach when it comes to identifying and controlling every day and critical risks. This will involve facilitating 4Ds and STKY sessions to help our team find better and safer ways to work, as well as providing direction and support for serious incident investigations.



Key Responsibilities

  2. Develop and implement effective risk management strategies to minimize harm and ensure compliance with legislative and self-insurance requirements;
  3. Provide coaching and mentoring to the Safety, Health and Wellbeing team to enhance their capability and knowledge;
  4. Partner with the leadership team to plan, develop, and execute the SH&W strategic plan;
  5. Facilitate workshops and training sessions to promote a culture of safety, health, and wellbeing;
  6. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for change;
  7. Report and present on performance, trends, and outcomes to stakeholders;


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:



  • A strong understanding of risk management principles and practices;
  • Experience in a safety role within a dynamic, high-risk environment;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to coach and mentor others to enhance their capability and knowledge;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team;
