About the Role


We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Supply Chain Quality Management team at Coles Group in Erskine Park. As a key member of this team, you will play a critical role in maintaining the supply of high-quality food from suppliers to our stores.


With training provided, you will develop a strong understanding of quality standards and product specifications. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining tools and equipment, managing timely quality inspections for fresh produce and chilled deliveries, and recording inspection outcomes to ensure seamless communication with our Quality and Commercial teams.


Responsibilities:



  • Ensure the highest quality products are dispatched from our Distribution Centre to our stores.
  • Record and communicate inspection outcomes to the Coles Quality and Commercial teams.
  • Maintain tools and equipment, and manage the timely completion of quality inspections for fresh produce and chilled deliveries.

Requirements:



  • Able to work across 7 days, including weekends and public holidays, with flexible start times ranging between 4am and 12pm (based on business needs).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with your team.
  • Excellent priority, time management, and communication skills to complete tasks on time and to a high standard.
  • A proactive approach, able to work quickly and identify challenges and risks.
  • Worked with or can learn quickly how to use a range of tools/equipment or systems for quality testing.

About You:
