**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to fill the role of Storeperson.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our stores, including receiving, storing, and distributing goods.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate documentation for all goods entering and leaving the stores
  • Coordinate monthly stocktakes with department managers
  • Perform monthly stock counts and enter details into the inventory system
  • Maintain inventory system files and produce monthly stock reports
  • Review stock levels and initiate purchase requisitions as needed
  • Distribute goods promptly to sub-stores or user departments
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of stores and proper storage of goods
  • Maintain security of storage areas and prevent losses through environmental damage and pilfering
  • Autorize and account for all goods returned to suppliers
  • Familiarize yourself with purchasing procedures and adhere to departmental policies and guidelines

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Stores/Purchasing capacity
  • Strong computer knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent command of the English language
