Job Description

Arova is a fast-growing bathroom products supplier in Melbourne, seeking a hard-working warehouse store person to join our team on a casual basis.

This position will be responsible for receiving, handling and dispatching goods in stores and warehouses, ensuring accurate documentation, labelling, palletisation and presentation of the product.

Unload and load trucks and containers whilst monitoring key performance indicators. Ensure the warehouse & equipment is cleaned to standard on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving, unpacking and storage of incoming goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures
  • Picking and packing of orders and branch transfers
  • Operate forklift and manually lifting in accordance with the OH&S standards
  • Provide exceptional customer service to customers during their order pick up
  • Carry out quality checks for received goods when required as per defined processes.
  • Process and maintain the necessary documentation to control stock in the system.
  • Carry out periodic partial or full stocktaking to maintain inventory accuracy
  • Liaise with the Sales Coordinator when product is low or there are count discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Full understanding of OH&S obligations
  • Highly motivated, flexible with a solid work ethic and positive attitude
  • Physically fit and able to move large and heavy items
  • Forklift licence required
  • Excellent attention to detail, and good with systems
  • Basic computer skills
  • Team player
  • The ability to work in high-pressure situations
  • Good communication with customers and supervisor/managers
