Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Stores Coordinator in a full-time permanent role based in Dandenong to join our collaborative and dynamic team.

The purpose of this role is to aid the production & projects team by being responsible for accepting all deliveries of stock and that everything ordered is present and accounted for and also be responsible for organizing the dispatch of finished fabricated products.  As a Stores person, you will facilitate efficient and effective production and processing functions of the business, in a safe, accurate, and timely manner. This is a terrific opportunity to join a fast-paced and creative team with an exciting pipeline of projects coming up. This position would suit an individual who has a strong work ethic and a desire for interesting, diverse, and challenging work.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor / Production Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage & keep accurate records of all inward goods
  • Perform stock checks and report on stock levels
  • Ensure materials and equipment are ready for upcoming projects
  • Unpacking deliveries/checking deliveries
  • Loading & Unloading goods from trucks
  • Receiving and inspecting goods and checking against orders.
  • Clean, package, sorting, place, and store materials as required
  • Maintain an organized and clean working environment
  • Packing and sending orders to customers
  • Moving heavy pallets and goods using a forklift

STOREMAN REQUIREMENTS

  • A current driver's license
  • Have a current & valid Forklift license
  • Confident with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Production experience
  • Must be able to communicate effectively
  • Ability to read and write in English, follow verbal and written instructions
  • Highly organized and self-motivated
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and get to know how the production team operates

WHAT'S ON OFFER?

Full-time from Monday to Friday – 38 hours \ Saturday 6.00 am – 12.00 pm
