Job Title:

Care Excellence Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Care Excellence Lead to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of Allied Health and Clinical staff and working collaboratively with clients, their families and the broader Home and Community Care team.

You will lead and facilitate the implementation of clinical policies and practices throughout our services in the South Coast region, providing clinical expertise and advice, clinical risk management, quality assurance, and clinical governance.

This role requires a strong understanding of contemporary Aged Care clinical practice and community-based service delivery, as well as experience in mentoring and providing advice to teams and employees.

You will also be responsible for embedding best practice in the delivery of clinical services and acting as a mentor, educator and advisor to the local HACC team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of Allied Health and Clinical staff
  • Work collaboratively with clients, their families and the broader Home and Community Care team
  • Develop and implement clinical policies and practices
  • Provide clinical expertise and advice
  • Mentor and educate local HACC team members
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing or Allied Health
  • Current Australian Health Professional Registration Authority (AHPRA) or other relevant regulatory authority
  • Well-developed understanding of contemporary Aged Care clinical practice and community-based service delivery
  • Experience in the Aged Care and/or Health environment
  • Significant experience in mentoring and providing advice to teams and employees
