Our Service

Stride Hub is a community mental health and wellbeing service for adults, their families and carers that offers access to integrated care and support to improve recovery outcomes. Participants can access a range of community mental health support services; clinical mental health services; care coordination and NDIS supports. The service also offers full DBT clinical and DBT skills building interventions to the community.

Role Overview

The Clinical Manager role has responsibility for the provision of clinical leadership and management. The focus of this role is on the day-to-day delivery of excellence in quality care provision, ensuring all clinical governance and compliance targets are implemented and met, as well as supporting innovation and quality improvement to ensure evidence-based outcomes for people accessing the service.

  • Permanent, part-time opportunity available (23 hours per week, option of either 4 or 5 working days per week)

Requirements
  • Must have one of the following: Full AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist or Mental Health Nurse, OR AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
  • Knowledge and understanding of the theory underpinning evidence-based interventions and clinical practice as well as demonstrated excellence in the practical application of such, in the areas of mental health and alcohol and drug use.
  • Demonstrated ability to undertake assessment and initial screening activities to determine client care needs, provide counselling, produce assessment reports and assist clients to access necessary services.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the management of a multi-disciplinary service delivery team including the ability to lead the coordination of care for adults, and their families
  • Highly developed communication (including written) and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to engage with individuals, advocate on their behalf and establish and maintain effective relationships with staff, participants, carers and stakeholders
  • Good computer skills and familiarity of Microsoft Office applications and the capacity to learn how to use a new clinical software package.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a WWCC
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
  • Must have a Drivers License
