The role of Community Mental Health Clinician, Adult Service, involves delivering recovery-focused clinical services as part of a multidisciplinary team. This includes assessment, care coordination, intervention, liaison, and review for individuals referred to the service with mental illness, distress, or risk issues.
Key Responsibilities- Providing contemporary clinical mental health practice, including conducting mental health assessments and evidence-based interventions.
- Collaborating with consumers, their families, carers, and stakeholders.
- Maintaining high level communication skills and computer literacy.
- Tertiary qualifications and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency as a Registered Nurse, Occupational Therapist, or Psychologist OR Tertiary qualifications for Social Worker, Counsellor, or Welfare Officer with eligibility for membership for relevant professional association.
- Demonstrated experience in provision of contemporary clinical mental health practice.
This position requires the ability and willingness to drive/travel, which may involve driving long distances. A current unrestricted drivers' licence is essential.
