Responsibilities and expectations
  • Apply evidence-based practices to assessment, formulation, and treatment of a range of psychological disorders
  • Tailor treatment plans to each client's needs and monitor progress throughout treatment
  • Build therapeutic rapport with clients across age groups
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation in line with ethical and legal standards
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and engage in regular peer supervision and professional development
Qualifications and requirements
  • Appropriate registration with the Psychology Board of Australia/AHPRA
  • Working with Children\'s Check (WWCC)
  • Current Professional Indemnity & Public Liability insurance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Registered Medicare provider (or eligible to apply)
  • Current National Police Check (National Police Certificate)
  • Experience with children/families is a bonus
  • Strong knowledge of therapeutic approaches and ability to tailor treatment plans
  • Excellent communication and professional report-writing skills
  • Ongoing commitment to personal and professional development
