Lead Clinical Excellence

The role of the Lead Clinical Excellence is to spearhead a team in embedding best practice in the delivery of clinical services and education within a neighbourhood model of care.

This involves providing clinical expertise, managing clinical risks, ensuring quality assurance and governance, and mentoring local healthcare teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Liaising with clients, families and Home and Community Care teams for seamless care delivery.
  • Leading the implementation of clinical policies and practices throughout services in a designated region.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and maintain quality management systems.

Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Tertiary qualification in Nursing or Allied Health.
  • Current Australian Health Professional Registration Authority registration.
  • Excellent understanding of contemporary Aged Care clinical practice and community-based service delivery.
  • Proven experience in mentoring and advising teams and employees.
  • Ability to navigate and nurture teams through ambiguity and change.
  • Proficient in using multiple computer applications.
  • Current First Aid Certificate.
  • Driver's licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle.
