Our Food Quality Assurance role is pivotal in the production of safe and high-quality food for our customers. As a key member of our Quality Assurance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the consistency, quality, and safety of our products.
This involves sampling, analysing raw materials, performing chemical and microbiological testing, communicating batch release to key stakeholders, managing data entry and analysis, setting up Sensory Panels, maintaining laboratory equipment and instrument calibration, and conducting internal audits of production.
Ultimately, you will be instrumental in implementing our Quality Management System and HACCP Plan, driving continuous improvement projects, and working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to achieve excellence in our QC process.

The RoleThis role requires a degree in chemistry, biology, or a related field, as well as basic lab skills and experience working in a wet lab environment. Excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team are essential.
The ideal candidate will possess proactive problem-solving skills, a keen eye for precision and accuracy, and the ability to identify areas of improvement and drive change.
Responsibilities will include sample collection, raw materials analysis, finished goods testing, laboratory maintenance and calibrations, and the implementation of our Quality Management System and HACCP Plan.

By three months, you will be conducting QC tests, analysing raw materials, and handling finished goods testing with an eye for precision and accuracy. You will be able to identify areas of improvement and work collaboratively across a multidisciplinary team to continuously improve our QC process.
