Job Title: Key Franchising Leader - Minor Hotels ANZ

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to join our team as a Director of Franchising. This key role will be responsible for shaping and driving the strategic vision and operational performance of our franchising division within Australia and New Zealand.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Franchise Strategy: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive franchise strategy for Minor Hotels in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring alignment with business growth objectives.
  • Monitor Franchisee Performance: Monitor franchisee performance and profitability, identify areas for improvement, and provide guidance and support to improve performance.
  • Build Operating Procedures: Build franchising operating procedures, metrics, systems, and processes for Minor Hotels Brands in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Franchisee Training: Develop and execute franchisee training programs to ensure compliance with brand standards and operational best practices.
  • New Franchise Operations: Work with franchise partners to open new franchise operations and manage changeovers as and when directed, providing assistance in the training of new and existing teams.
  • Professional Relationships: Work closely with franchise partners to develop a professional relationship to achieve desired results for all stakeholders.
  • Negotiation and Compliance: Negotiate and execute franchise agreements and ensure compliance with franchisee contract terms.
  • Brand Standards: Ensure compliance to all brand standards within franchise operations.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary Qualification: A tertiary qualification in Business or a related field is required.
  • Franchising Experience: 10 years of experience in franchising, with a proven track record of success in developing and growing franchise programs.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong financial acumen, with experience managing the financial performance of a franchising program.
  • Knowledge of Laws and Regulations: Strong knowledge of franchise laws and regulations in Australia and New Zealand.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to build professional relationships with franchisees and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Compensation Package: We offer a highly competitive remuneration package, which includes a base salary of $150,000 per annum, plus superannuation benefits, annual leave, and access to company-wide discounts and rewards.
