Key Position Summary

The Renewal Specialist is a pivotal role within our organization, responsible for managing the existing customer base to retain and grow revenue through install base management.

This position involves executing go-to-market strategies and initiatives to meet key performance indicators (KPIs) for technology refresh, add-on, and renewals sales.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate closely with Client Executives and Customer Success Managers to determine account install base strategy and identify retention opportunities.
  • Own the install base management process and support retention sales within specific areas (renewal, technology refresh, keystones, cloud subscriptions).
  • Maintain and enhance retention rates (including renewal on-time and in-quarter rates, technology refresh, keystones, cloud subscriptions).
  • Establish profitable relationships with channel partners, customers, and account teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on experience as a renewal specialist in storage or similar IT space.
  • Aptitude and readiness for learning new technologies.
  • Creativity in problem-solving and strong customer service skills.
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical solutions and selling concepts.
