Reserve Manager and Principal Geologist

We are seeking an experienced Reserve Manager and Principal Geologist to lead the development of a secure, sustainable, and future-ready reserves and resources base.

The Opportunity:

As part of our aggregates business, you will be responsible for leading the national Reserves Replenishment Program, ensuring timely and strategically aligned reserves planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the national Reserves & Resources Replenishment strategy and delivery.
  • Review and sign off on Reserve & Resource reporting in line with JORC (2012) standards.
  • Collaborate with site operations, technical teams, and business leaders to drive positive business outcomes.
  • Identify future resource opportunities and inform long-term business planning.
  • Support mergers and acquisitions through resource assessments and due diligence.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and reporting standards.
  • Deliver annual reporting via our global Aggregates Reserves Management (ARM) process.
Requirements:
  • Degree in Geology, Earth Sciences or Mining Engineering.
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Extractive Industries or relevant experience.
  • At least 15 years of experience in Exploration, Mine Geology or Technical Services, or relevant aggregates industry experience.
  • Membership (or eligibility) with AusIMM or AIG.
  • Recognised as a Competent Person (JORC 2012) or equivalent reporting code.
  • Proven expertise in geological modelling, resource evaluation, project delivery, and program management.
  • Experience working across operational and leadership teams, influencing positive outcomes.
  • Commercial awareness and strong stakeholder engagement capability.
  • Proficiency in industry-relevant modelling software, modern business platforms, and ERP systems.
