About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Learning and Development Lead to join our team at Nova Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and enhancing our learning and development landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct a comprehensive review of our current and future learning and development needs, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Develop a long-term learning and development strategy and design an effective operating model.
  • Partner with our global people partnering team, talent and workforce planning functions, and the ANZ training team to implement the strategy.
  • Develop an implementation roadmap, refresh policies and processes, and define how learning and development budgets will be allocated and utilized.
  • Identify solutions to uplift our learning management systems.
What You Will Be Involved In
  • Conducting a thorough review of our current learning and development needs and existing supports, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
  • Refreshing and standardizing existing learning and development policies and processes across the organization, ensuring consistency and alignment with industry best practices and organizational goals.
  • Leading a comprehensive review of current learning and development systems, recommending and overseeing the implementation of necessary changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Developing governance frameworks, including team structures, governance arrangements, and organizational budgets.
  • Overseeing the centralization of mandatory training ownership and governance, implementing group-wide mandatory training frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and consistency.
  • Holding quality and authentic conversations, providing relevant and timely feedback, and focusing on the development of our people to build capability.
What We Are Looking For
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience in a learning and development leadership role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of learning and development policies, processes, and governance frameworks.
  • Direct experience managing learning management systems and other learning and development processes.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and functions in complex environments.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to create and execute comprehensive roadmaps.
