Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement labor relations strategies to maintain positive employee relations and minimize labor disputes.
  • Conduct research and analysis on labor laws, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and recommend best practices.
  • Negotiate collective bargaining agreements with unions to ensure fair and equitable terms for both management and employees.
  • Mediate labor disputes and resolve grievances between management and employees through effective communication and conflict resolution techniques.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to implement policies and procedures that promote a positive working environment and adhere to labor laws.
  • Advise management on labor relations issues and provide guidance on disciplinary actions, performance management, and other employee-related matters.
  • Stay updated on emerging labor relations trends and proactively recommend innovative approaches to improve employee relations and enhance organizational performance.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in labor relations, human resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Labor Relations Specialist or a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Strong negotiation and mediation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to resolve conflicts in a fair and equitable manner.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
