Claims Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking an accomplished Claims Manager to lead our claims team in Perth. As a key member of our customer services and claims unit, you will be responsible for managing a team of case managers and ensuring the highest standards of customer service are met.

About the Role

  • Lead a team of individuals including those at the top level of the Case Manager Framework.
  • Develop strategies to achieve appropriate outcomes as required within the business, ensuring adherence to relevant legislative requirements.
  • Maximise team performance through effective management, coordination of duties, maintenance of standards, and continuous improvement of business process.
  • Build strong working relationships with the insured, legal providers, and brokers.
  • Participate in regular claims reviews and encourage a collaborative and multidisciplinary approach to claims considerations.
  • Ensure compliance with Workers Compensation Injury Management Act 2023, including principles and standards as set out by the regulator.

  • Understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation.
  • Ability to manage client expectations to ensure matters are appropriately triaged and dealt with in accordance with an agreed timeline and scope.
  • Demonstrated evidence of technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
