Field Support Administrative Assistant

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Field Support Administrative Assistant to join our team at Orica's West Leederville Offices. This role operates Monday to Friday and offers a unique opportunity for an administrator who wishes to work in a large, innovative, and global market-leading company.
The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact and link between employees, internal departments, and external parties, handling clerical and administrative duties, analyzing, and improving office processes and policies. You will be responsible for greeting visitors, answering incoming phone calls, and delivering world-class service to our customers.
This reception-based administrative role requires you to work with critical business data, prepare reports, organize travel and diaries for some of our friendly business stakeholders, and oversee general office management operations. Your ideas and input for improving our business and office processes will be warmly welcomed.
As part of this role, you will:
- Raise procurement requests in SAP for goods, services, leases, and projects for all maintained sites, including work orders and materials supply.
- Process invoices and service entry sheets for raised purchase orders via the 4S inbox portal.
- Greet visitors, answer incoming phone calls, and deliver world-class service to our customers.
- Receive, sort, and distribute internal and external mail and courier items.
- Oversee general office management operations and perform ad-hoc administrative duties.
- Ensure that the office is well-maintained, organized, and secure.
- Making freight bookings via the Cora Freight Portal.
- Raise new vendor requests, assist with queries related to orders/invoices and payments.
- Work within a high-traffic shared inbox.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flight, hotel, and car rental reservations.
We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
