In this hands-on position, you will execute daily and weekly site priorities and directly lead team members onsite, ensuring they are trained and competent in all areas of operation. This includes harvest receivals, grain classification, stack building, tarping, site hygiene, grain outturn, road and rail operations, and general bunker operations.
You will ensure work priorities are executed safely while maintaining focus on quality and cost controls.

Key Responsibilities:- Execute routine operations according to policies and procedures related to employee, food, and feed safety, as well as environmental compliance.
- Monitor production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are met within specifications.
- Ensure operations are executed within budget guidelines.
- Maintain high focus on Customer Service.
- Execute operational plans at the site.
- Develop, supervise, and provide coaching to casual staff at the site.
- Experience in plant operations, implements, attachments, tractors, telehandlers, bulk material conveying, small plant, and hand tools.
- Training and certifications provided for additional required tickets and licenses.
- Experience within the grain industry or bulk material handling sector is highly regarded.
- A sound knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety standards with an ability and desire to promote a proactive safety culture and address unsafe work or practices.
- Take a practical approach to work tasks and have the ability to problem-solve.
- A valid driver's license is a mandatory requirement for this position.
Whilst this is a salaried role, there will be an expectation that you will have a willingness to work extra/flexible hours when needed to meet customer requirements.
