Key Responsibilities of the Site Leading Hand Role

As a Site Leading Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our site.

You will be responsible for overseeing daily and weekly priorities, leading onsite staff, and ensuring they are trained and competent to perform duties across various operational areas.

  • Ensure routine operations are executed in accordance with policies and procedures related to employee, food, and feed safety, as well as environmental compliance.
  • Maintain close monitoring of production outcomes, quantity, and quality to ensure customer and food safety requirements are met.

The successful candidate will need to operate within established guidelines and maintain high standards of customer service.

Requirements for Success

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • Experience with plant operations, implements, tractors, telehandlers, bulk material conveying, and small tools.
  • A strong understanding of Health & Safety standards and an ability to promote a proactive safety culture.
  • A valid driver's license is mandatory.
