Industrial Project Manager

Oversee on-site operations, safety, quality and timely delivery of a high-impact industrial project in Melbourne's dynamic growth corridor.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage on-site operations, ensuring safety, quality and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate and manage a diverse team of subcontractors, trades and site staff.
  • Implement project plans, construction methodologies and sequencing.
  • Control schedule, budget, site logistics and documentation.
  • Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, QA/QC checks and progress reporting.
  • Liaise with project stakeholders including clients, consultants and regulatory bodies.
  • Mentor junior site staff and foster a collaborative team culture.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience as a Site Manager or Senior Site Manager, especially on industrial or large-scale commercial construction projects.
  • Proven track record delivering projects in the $10–25 million range, ideally in Victoria or similar markets.
  • Strong command of safety and quality standards combined with practical construction know-how.
  • Excellent leadership, communication and problem-solving skills, with ability to make effective on-site decisions.
  • Sound understanding of Victorian building regulations, OH&S practices and industrial construction protocols.
  • Formal qualifications in construction management, engineering or related discipline preferred.
