Business Development Manager Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to drive the growth of our Institutional Client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, building strong relationships with institutional clients, and providing exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow our Institutional Client base.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with superannuation funds, asset managers, private banks, and asset consultants.
- Provide high-level client service and relationship management expertise.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments in asset management, ETFs, and capital markets.
- Liaise closely with internal colleagues, including Portfolio Management and Investment Strategy Teams.
Requirements:
- Education to degree level or equivalent.
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in the Asset Management industry, preferably in sales support, BDM, or RM roles.
- Practical knowledge of ETFs and general market structure.
- Ability to make informed decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience using specialized financial software, such as Morningstar Direct.
- Proficiency in Excel and other Office applications.
