About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Learning and Development Specialist to join our team at Tri-County Heating and Cooling Inc. as a 12-month fixed-term contract role. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and delivering talent development programs, leadership programs, and practices that cultivate a values-based and inclusive workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and lead corporate learning initiatives, including in-person, virtual, and e-learning formats, to bolster workforce development and cover a range of topics such as onboarding, employee wellbeing, change management, and more.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of training needs, ongoing monitoring, research, and assessment of all learning initiatives through stakeholder consultation, skill mapping, and focus groups.
  • Guide the direction of learning and leadership programs, practices, and frameworks, with a focus on suggesting improvements to the learning management system and HR information system.
  • Develop and implement capability development, coaching, mentoring, leadership development, early career development, talent and succession planning, achievement planning and development, and employee recognition programs.

Requirements

  • A degree in human resource management, project management, adult education, or similar, or equivalent experience.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE).
  • Current Class C Driving Licence.
