
Financial Analyst for Healthcare Industry

Monitor the healthcare industry to align provider compensation with the ever-changing environment. Assist in developing and implementing strategic initiatives surrounding provider compensation.
- Participate in the Provider Compensation Governance Committee for Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers.
- Ensure timely and accurate payment of physician call payments. Update call template invoices yearly. Work with hospital on the Master Call Agreement.
- Verify Medical Director payments according to contract terms.
- Oversee physician compensation models, including planning acquisitions and service line development.
- Develop and produce automated calculations and reporting dashboards.
- Conduct annual analytical reviews of employed providers' pay structures to deliver fair market value (FMV) plans meeting Commercial Reasonableness (CR) Testing requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with leadership and providers to develop, monitor, and track compensation arrangements.
- Provide expert resource support to leadership reviewing all aspects of provider compensation.
Minimum Requirements:
- AAPCP certification within 1 year or a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in healthcare finance/accounting industry.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field.
- Experience in provider compensation.
- MGMA ACMPE certification.
