Job Title: Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage risk management programs to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Oversee capital works projects, guaranteeing timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives to minimize the organization's environmental footprint.
  • Maintain compliance with workplace health and safety legislation, ensuring a secure workplace for all employees.
  • Supervise security and cleaning contractors, upholding high service standards and client expectations.
  • Optimize maintenance schedules and budgets to maximize resource allocation and efficiency.
  • Coordinate tenancy fit-outs and landlord works to meet business needs and objectives.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to tenants and visitors, fostering positive relationships and a strong reputation.
  • Be available 24/7 for emergency situations, demonstrating a commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of two years' experience in retail property management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Trade qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical disciplines, preferred but not essential.
  • Proven experience in supervising building services and contractors, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and budgeting skills, with the ability to make informed decisions and drive results.
  • Excellent written and oral communication abilities, with a focus on clarity, precision, and professionalism.
  • A First Aid Certificate, demonstrating a commitment to employee well-being and safety.
  • A professional demeanor and customer-focused attitude, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to make decisions and implement actions within delegated authority, while maintaining accountability and transparency.
  • Thorough knowledge of property functions, including accrual accounting, with the ability to analyze data and drive business outcomes.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and priorities, while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
