Operations Manager Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities of a retail property. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal centre operations.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Implement and manage risk management programs to maintain a safe and secure environment.
  • Oversee capital works projects to enhance the presentation and performance of the property.
  • Drive sustainability initiatives to reduce environmental impact.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety legislation.
  • Supervise security and cleaning contractors to maintain high standards.
  • Manage maintenance schedules and budgets to optimize resources.
  • Coordinate tenancy fit-outs and landlord works to meet client needs.
Key Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in retail property management.
  • Trade qualifications (Mechanical/Electrical preferred).
  • Proven experience in supervising building services and contractors.
  • Excellent financial acumen and budgeting skills.
  • Strong written and oral communication abilities.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • Professional demeanour and customer-focused attitude.
  • Ability to make decisions and implement within delegated authority.
  • Thorough knowledge of property functions, including accrual accounting.
  • Flexibility to meet business and client needs.
