We are seeking a highly skilled Transaction Banking Specialist to join our team at the Commonwealth Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional solutions and insights to our Commercial and Agribusiness clients.
Key Responsibilities- Originate new-to-bank opportunities and support existing clients with transaction banking solutions for working capital and cash-flow management needs.
- Develop close working relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and provide innovative solutions.
- Proactively build a pipeline of new and existing transaction banking opportunities and engage with relationship teams to review transaction banking performance and initiatives.
- Provide support, coaching, and education to bankers on transaction banking products and services.
- Excellent communication skills to distill complex requirements down to simple solutions.
- Passion for networking and executing new business opportunities.
- Success in this role requires a background in customer service, sales, and business development, as well as a drive to develop a solid understanding of our transaction banking value proposition.
- Ability to work with pace, managing and delivering on multiple priorities and projects with efficiency and accuracy.
- A successful track record of driving business opportunities.
- A well-developed local network, commercial sales acumen, and forward-thinking ideas.
- Strong negotiation skills and a passion for delivering exceptional client service.
- Motivation, accountability, and the ability to build lasting business relationships.
- Tech aptitude and knowledge of the payment industry.
