Account Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for cultivating long-term relationships with clients, overseeing various projects, and ensuring the delivery of services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met and projects and service works are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety standards to maintain compliance on all project and service sites.
  • Manage financial reports and oversee monthly client invoicing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and generate new business within existing accounts.
  • Lead and coordinate project and service teams to maximise efficiency and performance.
  • Understand client needs and objectives and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on account status and performance.
  • Estimate and tender on project and service work, ensuring competitive and accurate proposals.
  • Resolve client issues and handle complaints in a timely manner.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market conditions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years post-trade electrical experience.
  • Certificate IV in Project Management or Leadership and Management (or equivalent would be an advantage).
  • Current Unrestricted Electrical Licence.
  • Cablers License (Preferred).
  • CPR & LV Rescue Certificate.
  • Construction Industry General Safety Induction.
  • Current Manual Drivers Licence.
  • Proven experience as an Account Manager, Sales Representative, or a similar role.
  • Previous experience in job estimating and quoting.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Strong understanding of relevant Australian Standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously and work under pressure.
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project, Outlook) and simPRO is considered a plus.
  • Self-motivated, with a results-driven approach.
