We're partnering with a respected national brand in the building materials space to find a Sales Manager who's ready to lead a capable sales team and make their mark across Queensland and NT.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager with proven success in building materials sales and early leadership experience, looking to take the next step into a bigger role with strong support and a trusted brand behind you.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and support a small, established sales team – coaching Account Managers in real time to lift performance.
• Spend most of your week in the field – backing your team, winning new business and strengthening reseller relationships.
• Grow market share by expanding the merchant and reseller network across QLD and NT.
• Execute on a proven sales strategy with room to put your stamp on it as you develop in the role.

What You Bring

• 5+ years of sales experience in building materials, construction or manufacturing.
• A track record of winning new business and growing key accounts.
• Experience mentoring or leading others – formally or informally.
• Strong commercial instincts and a "lead from the front" approach.
• Deep knowledge of the Australian timber and building materials market.
