We are seeking a seasoned Account Manager to join our high-performing team. In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with a diverse portfolio of merchants across Australia.

Your core objectives will include retention, revenue growth, and time-to-first-payment. You will work closely with our Sales and Product teams to elevate the voice of the customer and identify opportunities for enhancement of our products and services.

To succeed in this role, you will need a strong track record of managing pipelines to achieve and exceed targets, as well as experience in discovering customer needs, closing sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers.

You will also be responsible for proactively and reactively building relationships with merchants, identifying opportunities to negotiate custom pricing, and effectively managing commercial opportunities using our unique value proposition.

We are looking for a quick-thinker with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, who can identify and respond to escalations on the fly.

Responsibilities:

  • Grow and retain a multi-million dollar portfolio of merchants
  • Cross-sell Zeller products and features through needs-based consultative discovery and selling with our merchants
  • Support new merchant implementation
  • Deploy reactive and proactive outreach to ensure our customers are set up for success
  • Identify opportunities to negotiate custom pricing and effectively manage commercial opportunities
  • Address concerns and issues to retain revenue and strengthen relationships with merchants
  • Partner with our Sales, Customer Support, Product and Marketing teams

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Account Management
  • A strong track record of successfully managing a pipeline to achieve and exceed revenue and retention targets
  • Experience discovering customer needs, closing sales opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers
  • A proven ability to upsell and cross-sell to add revenue to an account
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
  • A quick-thinker with a fantastic problem-solving attitude
