About the Opportunity

We are seeking a talented undergraduate engineer to join our team in North Sydney on a bid for UGL Transport major projects.

This exciting opportunity allows you to apply your technical skills and knowledge in a real-world setting, working on a major infrastructure project in Australia's biggest cities.

As an undergraduate engineer, you will be responsible for contributing to the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions that meet the client's requirements.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that all technical requirements are met and that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of engineering solutions;
  • Collaborate with experienced engineers and other stakeholders to ensure that all technical requirements are met;
  • Participate in project planning, execution, and monitoring to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery;
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to communicate project progress and outcomes;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A degree in Electrical, Communications & Control Systems, Mechanical or Mechatronics;
  • Proficient technical skills, including proficiency in classic theory of structure and physical modeling;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Ability to interact/engage with peers across multiple disciplines to ensure technical requirements are appropriately understood, allocated, and tracked;
