Operational Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled operational supervisor to lead our dispatch team in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for motivating their team to achieve daily targets, maintaining high standards of quality, promoting a safe working environment, and providing an efficient service to customers.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of ERP systems, ability to work within a rapidly changing and diverse environment, prior experience as a Team Leader or similar role, demonstrated background in people supervision in an operational environment, knowledge or practical experience with Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation, highly developed problem-solving capability complemented by an authentic and passionate customer-centric approach, excellent communication skills, and a Forklift Licence.

  • Picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders
  • Managing inventory, assets, and returns
  • Loading and unloading of delivery vehicles where required
  • Supporting the Warehouse Management with day-to-day operations and guiding the team to be efficient in achieving business targets
  • Controlling the pick allocation work on the computer
  • Providing line management to the team, coordinating their workloads, providing support to ensure that the team delivers, monitoring issues, and ensuring KPI targets and quality standards are met
  • Developing the team by focusing on individual performance and support requirements to achieve high standards, while fostering a culture of working safely

The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with the Dispatch Supervisor to ensure the team is operating at optimal capacity.

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Good understanding of ERP systems and software
  • Knowledge of Health Safety & Environment (HSE) practices and legislation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Forklift Licence
