**Operations/ Warehousing Supervisor**

**The business**:
Our client is a growing retail grocery business with an extensive network of stores across NSW and QLD. With over 40 years of experience they are agile, innovative and implement ideas rapidly. This business employs over 3500 people and an extensive network of fresh food suppliers which go into the thousands.

Better tasting produce from sustainable suppliers. Bigger value from unexpectedly bigger harvests. More variety from truly seasonal conditions. The highest quality which can only come from years of experience and a close relationship with suppliers.

**The role**:
Due to ongoing growth of the business, our client are looking for an experienced Operations/ Warehousing Supervisor to ensure the logistics teams are engaged and working efficiently to ensure an effective inbound/ outbound operation and that goods are stored in the most effiient way. This is a 5 day-a-week role which will require some flexibility for occasional weekend work. A great opportunity for a current Supervisor or Team Leader looking for a step up.

**Salary: Up to $100k package (DOE)**

**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrable experience if understanding warehousing KPI's. Setting rosters, training and mentoring the team.
- Experience in supply chain and transportation
- Experience in FMCG with short shelf experience highly regarded.
- Ability to motivate teams, a forward thinking leader who thrives in a fast paced environment
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Solid understanding of inbound and outbound operations
- Lead from the front and build on a high performing culture

**Required skills**:

- Current Forklift and driving licence
- Certificates on Warehousing Operations highly regarded but not absolutely necessary.
- At least 2 - 3 years experience in leading a warehousing team, setting KPI's and providing leadership
