Occupational Rehabilitation Professional

Our organization provides rehabilitation services to individuals with injuries or health conditions. The goal is to support clients in achieving return to health and return to work outcomes.
This role involves working with a range of clients who have physical and psychological conditions to develop and implement injury prevention and workplace education programs.
Responsibilities and Expectations- Case management, including managing caseloads and providing support to healthcare professionals;
- Applying clinical knowledge to improve return to work outcomes for clients;
- Developing and implementing injury prevention and workplace education programs in collaboration with employers and employees;
- Collaborating with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes;
- Working across various schemes such as workers compensation, life insurance, Comcare, Department of Veteran's Affairs, and employer-funded injury prevention programs;
- Assisting clients with an injury or health condition to achieve return to health and return to work outcomes through assessments and consultancy services;
- Conducting vocational assessments to support clients in their return to health, work & life goals;
- Providing group mental health training and general health and wellbeing related education sessions.
