Job Title: Yard Coordinator

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Yard Coordinator to join our team at Access Hire. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient coordination of all yard activities, maintaining a safe and organized work environment, and supporting the overall success of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and manage yard activities, including forklift operations, equipment maintenance, and inventory management.
  • Ensure a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols and regulations.
  • Operate and maintain equipment, including forklifts, to move or reposition it as needed.
  • Load and unload equipment, and classify machinery on return, checking for damage and ensuring compliance with HSE requirements.
  • Perform general yard and workshop duties, including administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
  • Forklift license and demonstrated experience.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with minimal supervision.
  • Commitment to quality, with a focus on meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks effectively.
