We are looking for a motivated and energetic Yard Coordinator to join our Winnellie Branch, the Yard Coordinator will be responsible for the smooth and efficient coordination of all yard activities ensuring the yard is maintained in a safe and organised manner.

This role will be physically demanding and hands on, while there are some administrative components the majority of the work will be in the yard/workshop.

This is a full-time permanent role working Monday to Friday 7am - 5pm.

Other daily tasks will include:

  • Forklift Operations
  • Ensuring a safe and organised yard, maintaining a clean environment. 
  • Operating/driving equipment to move or reposition it
  • Loading and un-loading of machines.
  • Classifying machinery on return and checking for damage
  • Ensuring compliance with HSE requirements
  • Performing general yard/workshop duties as required.
  • General administration when needed.

The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have:

  • Forklift licence and demonstrated FL experience.
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • Previous experience with driving machinery is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided for the right candidate.
  • Well-developed communication skills.
  • Willingness to learn and be coached for success.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work and adapt in a dynamic everchanging environment effectively, with minimal supervision.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work, meet deadlines and be self-motivated.
  • Friendly and positive "can do" attitude.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol screen.
