The Opportunity:
Centurion is seeking a skilled and experienced logistics professional to join our metro team as a Metro Driver. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the safe transportation of general freight to and from customer specified sites within the Darwin metro area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Local pick-ups and deliveries to our vendors and clients around the metro and regional areas
- Securing and restraining all loads in a safe and efficient manner
- Conducting vehicle pre-start checks to ensure compliance with safety and procedural requirements
- Maintaining accurate paperwork and records
- Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless logistics operations
Requirements:
- Current MC/HC Driver's Licence
- Experience in transporting general freight
- Accredited forklift ticket
- Safe driving record and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow instructions and adhere to client site requirements
- Ability to be versatile and assist in the yard when trucks are unavailable or down for maintenance
