Mine Operations Coordinator

The dispatch officer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and effective operation of mine activities. This involves leveraging the Fleet Management System to optimise utilisation of load and haulage fleets, providing critical communication links between production, maintenance, planning and operations teams, capturing and recording accurate statistical data from the Fleet Management System, managing and escalating site fatigue management, collision awareness, and environmental system alerts.
About the Role- Prior experience in mine production and an understanding of the mining process are essential requirements.
- A working knowledge of fleet management and mine reporting systems is necessary for success.
- Strong leadership and communication skills are vital for effective team collaboration.
- The ability to make decisions under pressure, prioritise tasks, and solve problems with urgency and multitask efficiently is required.
- A commitment to health and safety, as well as adherence to HSEC policies and legislative requirements, is expected.
