Job Overview

A Dispatcher plays a vital role in mine operations, ensuring a safe and efficient environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate fleet management to maximise utilisation of load and haulage fleets.
  • Provide critical communication link between production, maintenance, planning and operation teams.
  • Capture and record accurate statistical data from the Fleet Management System.
  • Manage and escalate site fatigue management, collision awareness, and environmental system alerts.
About You
  • You will need previous mine production experience and understanding of the mining process.
  • Working knowledge of fleet management and mine reporting systems is also required.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • You must be able to make decisions under pressure, prioritise, and solve problems with a sense of urgency and ability to multi-task.
  • Commitment to health and safety and adherence to HSEC policies and legislative requirements is expected.

The location is ideally situated in the NSW Hunter Valley near Singleton, 70 km NW of Maitland and 90 km NW of Newcastle.
