Job Description

As a highly skilled Patent Administrator and IP Specialist, you will play a key role in the protection, commercialisation, and enforcement of intellectual property for our client.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparing and proofreading various correspondence and documents;
  • Uploading documents and maintaining accurate information on client portals;
  • Liaising with IP Australia for document productions, lodgements, and amendments;
  • General administration (e.g. diary management, arranging travel and meetings).
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a legal secretary/administrator/career paralegal in any area of law, including intellectual property (preferably patents);
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) with fast typing and accuracy (minimum 55wpm);
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with proven team player ability;
  • High accuracy and effective meeting of deadlines;

Location and Salary

This exciting opportunity is based in Brisbane, Queensland, with a salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 per annum.
