About the Role:

  • Lead and manage the sales team to ensure excellent customer service and a collaborative working relationship between Sales, Service, and Parts departments.
  • Represent globally recognised brands like Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner, and Fuso, driving market share by leveraging their strength, enhancing gross profit and sales volume.
  • Implement structured strategies and processes for an efficient and high-performing Sales department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coach and guide sales consultants to meet performance KPIs and complete sales activities.
  • Lead and support budgeting, forecasting, and reporting requirements.
  • Act as a trusted resource for resolving customer matters, ensuring prompt and effective solutions.
  • Manage end-to-end deliveries, ensuring vehicles go out as scheduled and customers are informed.
  • Display a high level of safety leadership, participating in WHS committees, completing showroom inspections, and ensuring team members have correct training.

About You:

  • Prior leadership experience in a sales-focused role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to facilitate presentations.
  • Experience with full P&L budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Exhibit a high degree of emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build teams and set expectations to deliver desired outcomes and results.
  • Familiarity with relevant software, including Microsoft Office, customer relations management system, and dealer management systems.
  • Willingness to adapt and implement new marketing strategies and sales methods.
  • Current unrestricted drivers' licence.
