The Client Onboarding Department plays a crucial role in safeguarding our business against financial crime and terrorist financing by verifying new customers.
We are seeking an Onboarding Specialist to ensure efficient onboarding of customers across business divisions, who will:
- Conduct thorough Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) checks on all new customers in accordance with local regulatory requirements and group standards and procedures.
- Administer, allocate and accurately update the onboarding pipeline on a daily basis.
- Ensure accurate input and maintenance of client and static data into the Client Data Base.
- Issue Business Head approval requests in line with MF requirements.
- Attend and drive weekly Business Line prioritization check-in calls.
- Assist on ad-hoc reviews, projects and audits that the Onboarding department is required to carry out.
- Efficiently deal with general day-to-day ad-hoc queries.
- Collaborate closely with the Financial Crime team.
- Keep management informed of issues and developments.
- Comply with the company's regulatory requirements under various jurisdictions.
- Adhere to the operational risk framework for your role ensuring all regulatory or company determined parameters are complied with.
- Demonstrate highest level standards of integrity and conduct reflecting Company Values.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and industry standards.
